Mathematics bot for Discord
Development
MathBot was developed by a computer science student in March 2021 as part of a hobby project. Updates and improvements are always being implemented, and version releases will be announced in the support server, along with changelogs.
What is MathBot?
MathBot is a user friendly and easy to use mathematical calculator for Discord. It provides a variety of mathematical functions, including rather complex trig! If you notice a feature that you'd like MathBot to have , then please make a suggestion in the support server or through the feedback command.
How does it work?
MathBot runs 24/7 on a Raspberry Pi and it's code is written in python using the discord.py library. If you would like to know how it all works, please visit #tech-talk in the support server!
Mathbot progression and future

MathBot came alive on this date. A hobby project that had just started as an introduction to python had just been shared with the world!
Rapid growth soon after
MathBot saw a huge increase in servers very fast, which was a great surprise! People want MathBot in their server, and that is awesome.
What's next?
MathBot has many new features to implement, but the next large update will be for statistics! This will function where the user lists data, MathBot will write it into a temporary array, and then will calculate quartiles, variance, standard deviation, along with other common averages.
After that?
Math is a vast area of challenges, logical problems and theories. If there's anything you'd love to see MathBot do, please do suggest it in the dev server! Or better still, collaborate and help write an algorithm of your own! Get in contact with Camton for more details
